'Biddy Early'

COLLECTORS ITEM

Biddy Early, the most famous Bean Feasa.

The Bean Feasa the traditional Irish wise woman, a healer and seer, who drew on her ancestral knowledge of nature, a spiritual guide who bridged the everyday world with the otherworld.

Biddy had a great understanding of nature a skill which she had inherited from her mother Ellen.

Every plant, flower, herb and tree had its own magical healing properties. She could cure humans and animals whether sick or injured but also curse a neighbour if it was called for!

Biddy was known for her famous blue bottle gifted to her by the fairies. She used this to divine what may be troubling the people that came to her for help.

Her power was rooted in the landscape, its seasons, and an oral tradition passed down through generations of women before her.

If you choose to accept biddy into your home I hope She brings protective energy, healing, and good fortune to your household and also to serve as a daily reminder to trust your intuition.

Biddy sits on a shellac protected wooden slice. Her famous cobalt blue bottle at her side and acorn bowls full of healing botanicals balanced on a piece of driftwood in front of her.
